UConn Blog raising the AAC Flag

Post by Water Pony »

UConn blogger becomes reconciled to The American and outlines what the Huskies need to do. He praises the BB strength of the new AAC, while asking Cincinnati, Houston, USF and SMU to step up and carry the load in FB. Decent summary.

In general a good and realistic article, although it still amazes me people go to the DP crutch whenever they mention SMU. Four straight bowls (whatever you think of them) would have done a bit more to argue his point.

Not to mention that we beat their Big East team Pitt in one of those four bowl games. 8)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
