HP police shoot motorcyclist south of Ford Stadium

Turns out he was following a car around so the driver called HP police. After apprehending him and putting him in the back of the police vehicle, the guy slipped out of the handcuffs and shot out the back window in an attempt to escape. That's when HP police shot and killed the suspect. Stolen motorcycle, outstanding warrants.

So that explains the traffic barricades last night. I thought there was something going on at the W Library or something.
I'm just glad nobody else was hurt.
