We are lucky to have him leading our conference .

Mike appears to be a class act. Also, his focus and commitment to build a strong brand for The American is most likely the most important action this conference will and must undertake. The past is past, whether it is the DP, demise of the old Big East or the greed of the Power Conferences.

Our responsibilities: We need to fully commit to our new conference and to the actions we need to take to strengthen ourselves.
