Lamar wide receiver Shelby Walker's decision to commit to SMU was due in part to the fact that the Mustangs were the first team to offer him a scholarship. He since has received other offers, but remains committed to sign in February with SMU. Walker visited with PonyFans.com to discuss his decision and his playing style.

Maybe Walker could be that pure home run threat we haven't had since Aldrick Robinson left for the NFL.
