Have you read the article about Uzo Okeke? The article was good, but the last paragraph is great. A great principal is expected to take a year to assess and plan and then "heads will roll", all to say we need to stand with him and not against him, at least for awhile. Sounds like he is going at this with a permanent and long term plan, garning support from previous players and implementing HIS ways. Let's get behind him. AND, I don't just mean alumni and friends, I mean students, too.

"He talked to us a little, and he sounds really sincere; he seems like a real asset to the program," Okeke said. "I think Jim Copeland made a great decision hiring him. If asked, I’d always come back. It’s important to bring back former players, because it reinforces to the guys playing now that they’re not in this alone. SMU football isn’t just you, it’s not just the players, it’s not just the coaches. The guys playing now need to know that there are a lot of us former players out there who want to see them succeed."

Uzo is, and always has been, a stand-up guy who cared about his school. He's the kind of alum who we all can be proud of.
