BC's new coach is changing their recruiting philosophy

Post by Rebel10 »

Good article. His experience at recruiting on a high level at Florida is getting BC back on track.

I will be glad when our recruiting moves out of BC into AD.

I love the systematic, committed approach to recruiting. I also liked that the coaches seems to be having fun and are held accountable for results.

My Dad played at BC and kept up with the recruiting in great detail. BC's has had some great recruiters in years past, for example Al Golden. The admissions department has always been the hamstring. They have a history of Ken Pye like restrictions (far nicer to the athletic dept than Pye), but not really on the same playing field as the Clown College in Tallahassee or the The U. Once they got the players in, they do really great job with academic support services. In years past it was just really tough to get the players accepted into the school.
