Most Tech fans I know bought their tickets the first day group sales opened up. Your ticket folks were more than happy to accomodate us as they apparently work on commission. I'd be shocked if it wasn't a sell out.

The guy I bought mine through sold me 10 for $25 a piece individually they would have been $35. I bought these fairly late too the ticket rep did tell me that the tickets I purchased were were returned. Granted they're not the best seats but I was going for quantity as opposed to quality and I felt for the given game the price was rather fair.

BIGHORSE, I love ya but we will always disagree on this. We are the home team. Our team will be wearing red. Red is the color for the game. And if we happen to be out numbered by Techsters, one will not be able to tell by looking that we are outnumbered. Just think if the team hears we will wear blue in the stands and they see nothing but red. I just go crazy when I hear people wanting to cede to the opposition. This is our hme field and we wear what is our home color.
I know you are one of the top supporters we have so please forgive my rant. I do know regardless of what is worn we will both be cheering for the same team. And if Jones will ever put the blue jerseys back on the kids I will wear blue.
We will have to agree to disagree. Blue matches my eyes so I will wear blue. The only time I will wear something different is if we wear black again cause black goes with anything.
Besides, if the big supporters are wearing blue, then I want to look like a big supporter.
But please let me be clear. I have no objection to wearing blue. I wish the team did. Where I have my differing with BIGHORSE is wearing blue because the opposition coming to MY STADIUM is might wear red. I am never going to change my color on my home turf because of the other school. If I were going to Houston, I would wear blue.

Loosen your panties. Most Tech fans will wear black. And the game will sell out. No worries.

When I called in they said they returned a little less than a thousand from their 4,000 ticket allotment. A&M sold out their 4,000 allotment last year at almost twice the price for whatever it's worth.

I do not think the allotment comes into play. It is the Dallas Techies buying tickets here that will fill the stadium. I can believe that 4,000 from Lubbock may not make the trip.
