I love DISD players. I wish we could get more.
Re: WR Jordan Ingram commits to SMU
5-11 and 175 isn't huge, but it's more than adequate, especially for a guy going into his senior year, and as every coach says, you can't teach that kind of speed.
Junior year: 38 catches, 746 yards, 9 TDs. Offers include Iowa State and Utah State, plus a few more.
Sounds like a nice pickup. Congratulations, Jordan!

He's not short but has average height and blazing speed with good hands. Good commit for SMU.

might be a good find. His H.S. team is not so strong (currently) so probably have a hard time getting him the ball. nice slot option with that speed.

don't we have enough of those?gostangs wrote:might be a good find. His H.S. team is not so strong (currently) so probably have a hard time getting him the ball. nice slot option with that speed.
I think cause of his speed and size he can be a factor as a deep threat on the outside.
Re: WR Jordan Ingram commits to SMU
If that 4.33 is accurate, does he become the fastest guy on the team the minute he sets foot on campus?

This is the first Dallas Carter player in all the time June Jones has been here to commit to SMU. When he enrolls next year will he be the first DISD player SMU has had enrolled in the time June Jones has been here?

The kid sounds like a really solid addition. Love the speed, BUT (cant wait to get jumped on for this) does anyone else find it ridiculous that we didn't even really talk to the kid? I mean really??? "Coach Daniels never really talked to me, but he seemed like a nice guy". We're lucky to have him with kind of effort.
I hope we get him to the hilltop because with that speed and his stats (considering his team was 3-7) he could really help. Lets hope Daniels remembers to send him an LOI next year.

That type of effort won't keep him, especially when he starts picking up BCS offers.

Sounds like he just likes SMU as a whole as well as it being close to home. I think they keep him no matter who offers.
