New Seating in Ford

Post by AusTxPony »

Has anyone else ordered the new comfort seating with backs in Ford Stadium? I understand they can be removed if you don't like them. Have you tried them out at all?

That'll be just great for the two games a season people have to stay in their assigned seats. Otherwise, everyone always moves around since the place is half empty.

I got them. I think they are a great addition and will make the game much more comfortable.

Good to see SMU bring this option to season ticket holders.

My wife heard about those and had me order them immediately. It will be interesting to see how many times I have to ask folks to get out of my seats because we have the cushions.

It will be an interesting social study to see if people flock to empty "seats" which are not theirs or whether they stick to open areas of bench.

Waste of money. If you stand during the game like you are supposed to you don't need no damn cushions. 8)

No argument there, but the wife likes to sit, so for me to be at the game longer she and kids needs better seats.

Now standing for the whole game is fine for you kids, but some of us older folks find that very difficult and I'd rather be at the game instead of on my couch at home.

I thought about it but I have a bench seat with a back and plenty of natural padding so I passed. It will be interesting though to see if the interlopers will move in on empty ones.

When I went down for the A&M game 2 years ago my friend had these padded seats (I assume it's the same company). It was worth it just to keep people from encroaching in on your space.

I'm from the class of '67, not exactly a kid, but I understand not everyone can stand for long periods of time...my comment was basically a joke. BTW, I would rather you be at the game too. 8)
