Have we actually started building the Tennis Center yet?

Just wondering. I have heard things both ways and can't drive by myself. Well, I could, but that's a very long drive. We always seem to be a day late and a dollar short on these projects. Or several years late and several million dollars short in the case of aquatic centers...

There is a lot of activity on that parcel of land but I can't tell what is what. I'm sure somebody will know.

I haven't driven by in a couple of weeks since they started closing one of the lanes on the access road for construction vehicles which really screws up the traffic pattern at Central/Mockingbird. If it wasn't SMU construction it would really make me angry.

Yes construction is now underway. I drove by campus this morning and the work crews were busy putting stakes down and clearing the land. No actual building is being done but yes the construction work is underway.

The women released their schedule today. No home meets until Jan. 25, which I guess makes sense but I hadn't really thought about it.

Yes the band hall is under construction and should be partially completed by end of November. You just can't see it b/c of all the construction w/ the dorms blocking it.

Work has begun on the tennis center. They now are in the early stages of removing dirt before pouring the foundation. I'm told the first elements of above-ground construction in "about October."
