yep.

Beasley was hurt after catching a 23-yard reception with seven minutes to play in the third quarter. He underwent X-rays at the stadium.

Injury Update:

http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/2013/ ... days.html/

OAKLAND, Calif. - Dallas Cowboys receiver Cole Beasley injured his left foot in the third quarter of Friday night’s preseason game at Oakland, but the X-rays were negative.

"It’s not broken," Beasley said. "I’m not sure what it really is, but I should be good soon. I’m just happy it’s not broken."

The Cowboys resume training camp practice in Oxnard, Calif., late Sunday.

Beasley said he thought an Oakland player stepped on his foot, but he said it was hard to know for sure. The injury happened after Beasley made a 23-yard catch.

"I thought someone stepped on it, but when they watched the film they couldn’t really tell what happened to it because they’re so many bodies, so I’m not really sure," Beasley said.

Beasley caught a 15-yard touchdown late in the second quarter from quarterback Kyle Orton with the Cowboys in a no-huddle, two-minute offense. Beasley beat Raiders cornerback Joselio Hanson in man coverage. Orton threw a perfect pass to the left seam that Beasley made a good catch on by fully extending his arms to snag the football.

"When he went to the play that he went to, as soon as I saw it was man free and I had outside leverage, I knew that I had to beat my guy," Beasley said, "and he was probably coming to me and I was going to be the option to go to down there. And I was able to beat my guy and he made it real easy on me and threw it right in the bread basket."

Further update:

http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/2013/ ... foot.html/

OXNARD, Calif. - Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley had an MRI on his injured left foot Saturday that showed he had sprained ligaments and some bone bruising.

Beasley was in a walking boot Saturday and is expected to miss some practice time this week, though no timetable has been set for his return.

Beasley, the second-year player out of SMU, injured his left foot in the third quarter Friday night of the Cowboys’ preseason game at Oakland. After making a 23-yard catch, Beasley limped off the field and eventually headed into the locker room.

Beasley, who is the leading candidate to land the Cowboys’ No. 5 receiving job, said late Friday night that he thought an Oakland player stepped on his foot.

Beasley, who finished with three catches for 49 yards and a touchdown, said X-rays after the game came back negative.

"It’s not broken," Beasley said after the game. "I should be good soon. I’m just happy it’s not broken. Now the main thing I can focus on is just getting better."

I sure hope those sprained ligaments don't turn into a chronic problem.
