I am a little miffed that there isn't a linebacker or secondary plaer on the list. Backs, linemen and a couple of speciality positions. And no kickers either.

Yeah. It is rumored that I was 11th on the list but not having played in the NFL or seen the field in college was counted against me.

List looks good to me. I did not see Walker, but the rest of the list is right on although you could reasonably argue that several could flip positions. Trouble with this list is that no one in the past 25 years even knows about these guys or can truly appreciate how great they really were.

Wlell, while I agree, that is a most solid list of SMU talent in the NFL. Maybe just outside of that list might be Louie Kelcher and Wes Hopkins. While I never liked philly, Wes could play. Also we might include Thomas Morestad.

What to you mean? He is on the list. Jerry was a NT. I went to SMU with Jerry. Even in our freshman year I couldn't believe how thick his body and legs were. He was a great player and good guy.

He was still at SMU my freshman year. I swear that he lived in the lobby at McElvaney (a girls dorm at the time) 24/7. That was one big dude.

I did not see Walker play in person, but saw the rest play at least several times in person while in the NFL plus many times on TV.
