ETA on Suite Renovation Completion?

Post by DiamondM »

I drive by nearly every day, and it just doesn't seem as close to being done, either exterior or interior, as I would expect with less than 3 weeks to go before the season. Are these going to be done by August 30 when we have our biggest crowd of the year on national tv? Please tell me yes.

And if not, please tell me that we negotiated a construction contract with huge delay penalties.

Time to start having those guys work 24 hours/day. They're going to need the time just to make the place safe - doesn't look like there's any way work will be complete, especially finish out which is always slow.

We should have vetted them through Angie's List.

I did hear that the contractor asked if the tech game was a day or night game.

Okay, I don't care if the fancy pants suite owners get high on fresh paint fumes and the toilet flushes when you flip the light switch, as long as the are done and look pretty on tv.

Still not sure why we are cutting it so close given they've had almost 9 months to do these.

Ever had a deadline for a contractor /contractors to meet? They are amazingly resourceful in their quest to push and seldom meet the deadline and come in far, far overbudget
