SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I love it. I have seen more this year of intriguing press then I can remember in recent years. I am always blindly optimistic about our team, but I am honestly getting STOKED about this season. I truly think we can be a BCS buster.
