"To be honest, I can’t really speak on that at this time because I really haven’t heard much back from SMU," Stevenson said. "I’ve known that I’ve had an offer, but they haven’t gotten in contact with me or anything so right now I couldn’t give you a response on SMU.

"I haven’t heard from anybody, talked to anybody, they haven’t shot me a message or nothing"

This is his highlight tape. Kid seems to have world class speed but lacks some in terms of breaking tackles and being shifty.... Lache Seastrunk looked very similar throught his H.S. years....Seemed almost too fast for his own body.

Right. Because we have so many 4 star sub 4.4 RBs from Dallas knocking down our door.

Im no recruiting genius but the kids only offers are us, texas? and utah state. Those three dont have a lot in common. Also the kid is a 2015 grad, he is only going into his Junior year. You would think that a 4 star with 4.3 speed would have an offer from just about anywhere he wanted. So the fact that he doesnt should tell you something. Also i seriously doubt that UT offer is a commitable offer.

im just going to make a wild guess here and say it feels like a grade issue if we have gone quiet and he has not much in the way of other offers with that kind of speed.

Utah state is a pretty good program. I wouldn't knock them.

But I have no idea, but I still don't get why wouldn't at least take a flier on the kid. It's worth it for his freakish speed alone.

How many 4 stars has Utah St. signed lately , i would guess none but i honsestly dont know? My point is nobody knows why we havent called this kid back. I know June sucks at recruiting but there is something else we dont know about this kid. I would be willing to bet that we havent even offered this kid. Scout on occasion has been wrong about this stuff. So in summary Utah St. doesnt get 4 stars, the kid is only a Junior, and UT and SMU have most likely not even offered.
