Yep, that's it (the first one). How frickin hard is it? Every fan wants blue. Every team in the country wears red. Only Boise is known for blue. We have to do SOMETHING to grab some attention, how about just use our colors.

I guess I was one of the only SMU fans (one out of 100) who was happy when Dan Freiberger and SMU broke out the red jerseys for their first post death penalty SWC win against TCU at Ownby. Then again, I was just a 5th grader, so I didn't know any better.

Use both red and blue throughout the season. In a six-game home schedule do 3 and 3. It's not difficult.

I actually made that jersey mockup along with four others a couple years ago. PM and I'll send you the template. I used photoshop and illustrator.
