Completely Unofficial Beat Tech Happy Hour/Pep Rally
You're All Invited!
Scotty's Elm St Saloon will be hosting a "Completely Unofficial Beat Tech Happy Hour/Pep Rally" on Thursday, August 29, 6:30-9:00. The SMU ALUMNI BAND will be playing at 7:30, and Draft and Domestic beers will be $3. This should be a fun time for Pony Fans to catch up and share in the preseason optimism (or just whine and moan).
Scotty's (http://www.scottysdallas.com) is located at 1608 Elm St in Downtown Dallas between Akard and Ervay. There are street parking spaces available for free after 6 as well as garage parking across the street for a few bucks. The Akard DART station is one block west.
Scotty's is SMU alum owned and operated (yours truly!). Again, this event is unofficial and unaffiliated with the University. See you there!

I'll stop by for a couple. Wish I could stay all night but I'm on baby duty in preparation for our Friday Night massacre of Tech.

Your web site doesn't list your opening and closing hours. Last year flew in to see my daughter and we went to a show downtown at the AT&T Performing Art Center. I was taken back how desolate downtown Dallas is, everything was closed at 7PM except one bad pizza place. You might lure some customers if you're open pass 7PM.
