The players tried. The problem is that not one of them should be in D-I. They are all high school/DIII guys. Not sure what firing June does unless SMU goes out and gets Saban, Parcells,or Belichick. Unless we can recruit the big guys, its just wasting more money. Had Kingsberry been on our sideline, it would have been the same result.

good chance we start the season 0-4. And if JJ is back next year let's just cancel the season.

if we start 0-4, there won't be 10,000 people in Ford for all those eastern opponents coming in this year

and if we go 1-3, 12,500?

bottom line, with those eastern opponents, was there anyway we could go over 22,000?

O Line play is the biggest difference. Not that good of protection for GG and they are not making the holes for Shead like they did for Line.

Last year in a couple of interviews he put losses on the players. Tulane was one that comes to mind.

He may have meant holes like Z line had last year. At least that is how I read it. Hopefully he will clarify.
