I am not happy with 6 or 7 win seasons any more. Time to take the next step. I want Top 25. And if at the end of this season it is apparent that the current coaching staff won't do that, we fire him and get someone who will.

I think it is a measure of how far we've come that we consider 6-7 win seasons "mediocre".

Good luck with the "get someone who will" part.ponyboy wrote: If, at the end of this season, it is apparent that the current coaching staff won't do that, we fire him and get someone who will.

6 wins by definition is mediocre. Neither good nor bad. I am ok with winning seasons and look forward to the day we get double digit win seasons and reach better bowl games and finish the season ranked.Mustangsabu wrote:I think it is a measure of how far we've come that we consider 6-7 win seasons "mediocre".

Rossley, Cavin, Bennett, and now JJ didn't meet your expectations after 5 or 6 years

Lots of luck with strike 5.

May the forth be with us.

It did not take TCU 6 years as Stallion pointed out to get into the top 25. I think if we give June until next year he can do it if he develops the players on this team properly. At some point we have to get past being happy with moral victories and move forward.sbsmith wrote:Webmaster wrote: The difference, of course being the top-to-bottom player quality and depth on the Tech roster.
Now how do we go about getting some of that top-to-bottom player quality and depth for ourselves? Perhaps another 6 classes of June's DITR recruiting is the answer.

Well look like we will not get to 7 wins.
