Pitches and plays outfield for FSU and was a Texas Rangers 2012 draft pick as well. Vic Viloria said he couldve started last year, even with Manuel on the roster.

Am I missing something? But how does a freshman redshirt in 2012 college football, when he was in high school.

Because he was at FSU as a freshman last year like Burcham was at SMU as a freshman last year.

Just saw on ESPN where his high school coach said that he called the Texas coaches and they would not even return his phone call.
