AAC games Saturday

Post by LA_Mustang »

As we still strive for national respect, there are a few noteworthy games this weekend:

#7 Louisville (2-0) at Kentucky (1-1) noon ET, ESPN
UCF (2-0) at Penn St (2-0) 6p ET, BTN
Maryland (2-0) at UConn (0-1) 7:30p ET, ESPN3

Louisville should roll UK. The UCF/Penn St game should be interesting. That'd be a nice win for the conference. I don't give UConn much of a chance.

I'll pull for the AAC teams this weekend and always for anyone (well with a few exceptions) that faces Penn State.

Temple lost to Fordham (FCS, Patriot League)

I don't think Temple is going to win a lot of AAC games this year, but this is a game they should have won. Patriot league is not considered a tough FCS conference, I'd compare them to the Pioneer or Ivy leagues.

At this point I thin that Temple, USF and Memphis should all be teams that we beat.

UCF has looked great, so we really need to pull off games against UCONN and Houston if we want to go bowling.
