More or Less. Piland apparently has a concussion, giving O'Korn all of the 1st team reps. It appears that he will be the starter for the Bayou Bucket Classic next week while another true freshman, Greg Ward moves up to #2 and JUCO transfer Billy Cosh moves up to #3,

Might be a tough game against Rice.

I think they played A&M quite well, and thus bet, Rice beats UH.

TCU's superbowl? lol.

We haven't been successful in containing mobile QBs (remember Dobbs at Navy?)... I see Boykin having a field day. Although, he didnt have a great passing day against Tech, he ran for a 101 yards. That scares me.

Hopefully we can manage to dial up some blitzes and put on some pressure and force him to get rid of the ball quickly.

He ran for 101 but his passing was not that good imo.

Our 5 star receivers in Ambles and Greenberry among the other members in our receiving corps will physically dominate Rice's secondary in addition to Farrow and Jackson's running ability. O'Korn despite being a true freshman is already coming into his own and will have plenty of weapons to choose from. As long as our defense continues to stand tall, we will beat Rice handily like we always do.

Suggest you go to Rice's board and tell the fans that. I'm sure they are already quaking with fear...

that would have made a great Friday Nite game to watch with 2 local teams. With the TV competition SMU faces these days Friday Nite games are growing on me. Too great sellouts too.

Hey Kenny. I'll respond with some when you provide some actual good smack. Like I said I think you plateaued early in the year.

Sounds like I should change my name to June Jones.

I appreciate the effort since June seemed to have plateaued early in his career. I don't really agree with the yearly comparison as lately his teams get better late in the year. I give it a C++++.

Most Coogs are banned from Rice's board.

We need to build a solid lead early because it looked like TCU's O-line got stronger as the game went on. I suspect our game plan will be to make Boykin have to pass. If our d-backs can stay in the vicinity of their receivers, Boykin will throw some picks.

I think the same thing. Our team, especially the defense, is going to have to be able to play the entire game. Might be tough after a&m but I wasn't too impressed w/tcu last night.

you probably need to worry about trying to roll others first!!! I'm going to the UTSA-uh game and will look forward to seeing you try to roll a relatively new team!
