ASU is still up only 2 over Wisconsin, but ASU will have to punt with 1:44 left

Long pass play and Wis will have the ball at the ASU 26. But review to see if he stepped out earlier

And a very long ball spot allows the clock to run out and preserves ASU's win

Without a timeout, that was the absolute dumbest clock management move in the history of ever. Yeah, bad officiating, but why would Wisconsin even put themselves in that position? Stupid. Just stupid.

I don't disagree. But still, they would have been able to spike it without the horrible officiating

Absolutely. But the play just before that was dumb. Spike the ball then, kick the FG, and they have maybe 2 seconds left to squib kick it, stop a run back, game over.

@EyeOnCFB: We would try to explain the end of Arizona State-Wisconsin to you but we have no idea how. We think the refs won.

Did Wisconsin QB take a knee or did he just set the ball down?
