Re: Head Coach hitting the recruiting trail hard
Not that they've ever really killed it on the recruiting trail, but some of the stuff I'm reading on the pay sites regarding contact (lack thereof) of recruits leads me to believe the following: the entire coaching staff is gone after this season (or next) and know it. Mason pushed really hard for that HC job (can't remember where it was, but remember reading his quotes sort of trashing the run and shoot and how he would love to be the HC there). My conspiratorial take anyway.

The entire coaching staff have been MIA for a couple years now. Your conclusion that that means they know they are all gone is merely wishful thinking...

Right. Hence why I opened my post with "Not that they've ever really killed it on the recruiting trail" . . .SMU2007 wrote:The entire coaching staff have been MIA for a couple years now. Your conclusion that that means they know they are all gone is merely wishful thinking...
Even terrible by THIS staff's standard. Doesn't make any sense unless they've simply given up.
Re: Head Coach hitting the recruiting trail hard
They were trying with klemm and reinebold at least. Since they left, the staff has been pulseless in terms of recruiting and promoting smu
