Where did you get that? I looked at weather.com a couple of days ago, and it said 20-30%.
Not sure who rain would help. We want to throw the ball more often than not, so that wouldn't help us. But if it slowed them down, too, some rain might not be a bad thing.

Mud helps the slower team? Usain Bolt is still going to embarass you in the 100m with a pulled hamstring. You'll just get a closer view of his [deleted] at the finish line.
Mud helps the running team*. They have a Malena. We have a rushing offense that couldn't open lanes in a soaking wet cardboard box.
Pray for sunshine. More importantly, pray that Mike Evans oversleeps.

Mud does help the slower team as you can only push off the ground so much to accelerate before the ground slides out when it's muddy.
