I recall Scymancski running for a first down instead of punting. I think it was the first Hawaii Bowl
If I recall, he dropped the snap and had to run. I do not think it was called. Or was that the one that Morstead did against Tulane?

We should do the 'score a TD in the red-zone' play. That would really freak everyone out.

They save that for the bowl games.

Best trick play I have seen us run in many years was when we had the shutout of some Div II team with about 30 seconds left and we were on the 1 yard line set to score a last second TD and pad the score. Then we fumbled the hand off and let the other team pick it up and run 99 yards for a TD and lost the shutout. That one took some skill and practice to pull off.

He didn't fumble the snap-- it was called.

Thanks. There was one that had a fumbled snap. I just have the memory of a dead elephant.
