Injuries

Post by East Coast Mustang »

Any word on the injury front for this week?

Is Shead expected back? Would be nice to have him back in the RB rotation.

Defensively, what about Joyner and Minor, who I believe was nicked up in the A&M game last week? We will need all hands on deck in the front 7 to be competitive IMO

Minor came back into the A&M game very shortly after he went out with what he said was diagnosed as a stinger. He said he'll be ready to go Saturday in Fort Worth.

Joyner also expects to play (see video interview on home page).

In addition, running back Ronnell Sims confirmed that he had surgery last week to "tighten up ligaments) in his right ankle and clear out scar tissue. Sims said he will be reexamined Wednesday, at which point it will be determined when he can remove the protective boot he is wearing and a plan can be laid out for rehab and his return to the field.
