If Petty and Seastrunk leave, 59-13. If they stay 76-13.
What about if Petty stays and Seastrunk leaves?

We are going to be 4-8 at best maybe maybe 5-7 and yes against below 500 teams, Baylor loss at least would bring money in maybe convince the CoC rich morons that keeping JJ around is counterproductive possibly as effective as the DP. Yes we get 4 mediocre bowl game Wooooohooooo yet we are regressing and possibly back to when JJ first started with beyond crappy recruiting class after ASU debacle...

What if our new coach is their current OC?

Not that it matters, but couldn't we employ a different strategy in our scheduling in the future? We wanted to play the best of the best and this year we got it and it was a disaster.

Nobody wants to play SHSU, NSU, MSU and other FCS teams.

So why not play the little boys in the Big Boys' conferences?

Why not schedule Kansas, Purdue, Duke, Kentucky, and other cellar dwellers in the Big Boy conferences?

We have a better chance of winning, we can claim to be mixing it up with the big boys and we don't have the potential of losing to a FCS team. And maybe attendance improves.

When we scheduled them Baylor WAS a little boy...they got a coach and got better. We need to stop tucking out tails and get a coach who wants to be here.

That won't fool anyone, attendance will still be lousy because no one here cares about those teams and they're not bad enough for a slam dunk win (plus they might not even still be cellar-dwellers once the game comes up). Not to mention that you'd have to sign a home and home which means every other year we'd have to play in some far off locale that our fans won't travel to. We have the right idea with our regionally-focused schedule. Now we just need to recruit better (see SMU basketball for details) and play up to the competition rather than trying to hide our deficiencies with cowardly scheduling.

exactly- a few season of AAC Football attendance are going to demonstrate our point real quick. And the reason we don't play national BCS cellar dwellers is because nobody will show up and we don't get the payday. You can't keep spitting in the face of Baylor, TCU, Tech and expect them to ever want to play us again.
