I keep telling you guys - numbers don't lie. The team isn't any better than Bennett, even with easier recruiting, other than our defense. $2mil salary, $500k results.

hasBennett's 500K = JJ's 2mil now days. It's called inflation, and is rampant among college coaches, and CEOs.

Don't think Bennett had 7+ wins for 4 years in a row.

Any excuse will do for the hardcore JJ supporters. Even if they have to make it up. I guess 6 and 7 regular seasons wins most being against less than .500 teams are fine with some.

Sorry but the extra 1.5 million a year is well worth it cause we ahven't once heard a JJ defense yell "All Out!" To have taht unendurable shame removed from SMU was worth the extra cash.

Don't worry! Season only 1/4 of the way complete, so it's still early. . . When all is said and done, SMU will be battling UTEP for the lower bunk bed in the basement

How about you actually beat someone other than FCS Montana State at the last second since you guys were too scared to play Baylor. Everybody remembers how you were getting blown out during most of the game.
