we should also ban beer in the stadiums because....yuck!

Push off wussy. I'm not against beer. I'm against drunks making threats in the stadium and throwing their full bottles of sports drink wherever it goes like maybe hitting your child in the face.
I'm against people so drunk that shouldn't be allowed inside the stadium to begin with sitting with face between knees until he vomits on the fans in front of him and clears 3 rows of seats. Some probably went to find empty seats to sit in. Those vomited on probably left early. Then it took over an hour for someone to come and pretend to clean it up.

I love the idea that having beer in the stadium will cause the place to turn into Animal House. Yeah, everyone will pound $8 beer after $8 beer until they vomit. 1/2 the students wouldn't even be able to buy them (and SMU would make damn sure they couldn't underage) and hell it's probably worse with them sneaking in vodka or whiskey and/or binge drinking before.

I wonder if alyssa and the other nuns have gone to sleep yet, or if she'll have a chance to read this before the AM

My God you really are out of touch with reality aren't you??? If you don't like the characters at football games then I really suggest you stick to attending quidditch games and checker matches. The bs you complain about at SMU is VERY mild compared to most other universities.

Let's be honest, Hawaii had a [deleted] rainbow on their helmet when June got there. They needed an overhaul. SMU's traditions and logos were/are fine.

SMU should have listened to June Jones in some things. The two stallions instead of Peruna were a good way to start a new tradition...and to change the "Pony Up" to something better like "GO MUSTANGS" or "FEAR THE CHARGE" or "BRACE FOR THE STAMPEDE" something that sounds better than saying Pony up and Pony this and Pony that...everyone makes fun of us for that.

even TCU changed their ways and did a successful sports marketing move with "FEAR THE FROG"...just saying
