You do realize that Rice, UH, Tulsa (multiple), UCF and Southern Miss to name a few have all had recent -at least-10 win seasons recently right?

so did Franchione at TCU and Briles at UH and Graham at Tulsa but once the programs were established they moved Patterson and Sumlin and Blakenship into their job and rose even higher

Those schools were forced to roll the dice. What happened to USM, UH (last year), and Rice?

obviously UH was rebuilding-they still have a much better record than June since they changed Coaches:

Houston- 9-6
SMU - 8-9

Rice also has a better record than June over same time period

Wasn't last year supposed to be the rebuilding year and this year we were supposed to compete for the conference title because of all the amazing depth and athleticism accumulated due to June's great recruiting? Little early for the sunshiners to be backtracking.

I sure do miss Margus, DeGared, and Zach just for starters. Accidental pun not intended at
first.

We got Shead, and now we may get to see what he really can do tomorrow.

Has anyone noticed that PlanoStangs text doesn't go all the way across? Do you randomly hit enter in the middle of sentences or something?

But you also need to pull your head out of your asss, this team has no depth at all. Having those 3 back would help, but it doesn't change the complete makeup of the 85 on scholarship

The party line was that since this was our most deep and athletic team since the DP we would actually be better than last year. What happened?

The depth at OL and DL is especially troubling to me. and the WRs suck. How does June Jones not have stud WRs all over the field in year 6?

That is the same guy that did not want to hire LB.

That is the same guy that gave Doherty an extension with a guaranteed buy out.

I wonder why Turner fired him?

So....remind me why we want to be in a P5 league?

By that measure we might be 1-3 anyway. We got unlucky against Tech with 2 terrible calls that directly impacted the score of the game.

I prefer we play P5 schools and slowly win our way up...maybe next year we beat one of them and the other one we beat 2 out of the 3...than being stuck with a boring OOC schedule against crappy FBS and FCS schools. This 1-3 will do more good than harm, and we have played tougher teams than rutgers has. Our hardest offense was Texas A&M and our hardest defense was TCU...so anything from here on out should be a piece of cake
