Defense blows however I think majority are primarily sophomores aren't they? Yeah we need a real defense (sorry for typo) to win the close games...

The killer play was the 3rd and 25 in the 2nd OT. No way you can get beat deep on a play like that.

We successful made that same play happen with 4th and 31 against Tulsa a few years ago.

Defense wasn't just beat-they were manhandled especially at the point of attack.

In the second half we cut the lead to 21-14 and had a little momentum, defense let's them drive the length of the field for the td. 1st OT, offense get's td, all we need is 1 play, can't do it. 2nd OT, offense scores td, all we need is 1 stop and it's 3rd and 24, can't do it, td Rutgers. 3rd OT,offense get's fg, all we need is just one stop, can't do it, two running plays was all it took to cover the 35 yards. Forget the top 20 in every defensive category talk, this defense sux.

Give up 55 points when your offense scores 52? Give up a TD on 3rd and 24 from the 29? DC shouldn't have a job, especially when he basically picks his own players.

I've never seen so many running plays where we didn't get even a hand on the RB until he was past the line of scrimmage. Just no push at all.
