The blue jerseys were outstanding. They looked incredible on TV. I agree: NO ONE has our Blue. When we were red, we look like half of all the other college teams out there. These uniforms were perfect SMU. The large letters "SMU" were proud and strong. The plain white pants were solid. Burn the reds, keep the blues.

I think EastCostMustang said it best; wear red when we play teams that wear blue and vice versa.

Stop using logic, we are dealing with June. I loved the blues, I would love the reds and whites if they added a bit of blue to the oversized stripes up top. But, I can't believe I'm saying this, if Tennessee's (of all trash) players can wear a special smokey uniform (which looked Tennessee and good) then I think our kids should have a really cool power ranger uniform, too. Solid gray or black highlighted with both blue and red could be done sharply from helmet to shoes. And, just wear it once a season. Just, nix anything that looks like what ND wore last night. That was awful.

Louisiana Tech, Kentucky, Kansas, Memphis, Buffalo, all use similar blue. I like both red and blue. As long as we keep the white helmet with red mustang and stripes I am happy. I would like to add stripes to our white pants. I do agree that we should alternate between red and blue jerseys depending on who our opponent is, much like Miami does with green and orange.

Agreed. I am sitting here in my home office looking at our last used blues in some photos. Way too many stripes. Small SMU on the front. The ones yesterday were beautiful. Maybe some more distinct red trim on the numbers, but nothing more than that if anything at all.

if you add all the Blue threads together Blue is overwhelmingly popular among SMU fans except maybe for the Transformer Generation that wants Black with Golden helmets and pink shoes because they saw a COOL Bad [deleted] uniform on TV last week
