Re: Offensive LineWe do not have the worst offensive line. Most offensive was when I said "Yes dear, that dress does make you look a little fat". Now that was an offensive line.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Offensive LineNot as offensive as the line that got me slapped at the basketball midcourt during halftime my senior year of high school.
Luckily, there were only hundreds of people there to witness it.

Re: Offensive LineA girl who was interested in me asked if I was going to the basketball game that night. I said yes and then proceeded to go with my buddies, not understanding that she was trying to get me to ask her. P!ssed off, she confronted me at midcourt during halftime as I was walking across the court to my get back to my seat. I told her rather innocently, I thought, that if I was interested in her, I would have asked her to the game. I got a face full of slap as a result and a standing ovation from the crowd.
Re: Offensive Lineponyfans has actually obtained footage of the ponyboy slapping incident

Re: Offensive Line[quote="JasonB"]Good point stallion. I think we were all excited by Suan moving into the Oline position after that game.
Gottschalk has been awesome this year, but was hurt in the TCU game, no idea if he will be available. Lasecki I have actually been disappointed with this season when I watched the oline on game replays. He missed several blocks in the Tech and TCU games. Outside of Gottshalk, everyone has struggled. There are some plays we get beat on physically, but a lot of times the line is making mental mistakes, not targeting the correct players to block. Hopefully those can get corrected as players get more experience as the season goes along. he didn't get it
Re: Offensive LineWas it just me, or did our OL look much better when we brought in Briggs and moved Gottschalk inside to guard? It's a shame Myers was hurt during Fall Camp.
On the surface, our OL has a promising future. Briggs and Myers at OT, Rice and McCarty at OG, and Lasecki at Center. With Reich, Chamagua, and Saena as backups (I'm talking next year and the next 2-3 years thereafter). I'm not going to talk about recruiting. It's terrible as everyone on here knows (we should be recruiting 2-3 big, strong OLs and DLs each every single year). But that would mean that we actually put in some kind of effort into recruiting.
Re: Offensive LineOur offensive line is not as quick and athletic as some would like us to believe. That being said it did look like Briggs added some athleticism to the line when he came into the game.

Re: Offensive LineYou can be the best coach in the world, but without talented O bodies in each recruiting class you will end up without depth and experience. You can only coach what you have and pray that there are no injuries to further complicate the mess.

Re: Offensive LineHopefully personnel adjustments from 2nd half will bode well for OLine performance the balance of the season.
