If Singleton is #100 on the Area-100 and forgive me if I counted wrong but I find 8 "areas" in Texas...that could make him the 800th best player in the state of Texas. Using the fact that 137 Texas high school kids signed D-1 last year...that makes 663 area top 100 listed athletes that didn't make D-1 status.

I don't have my Texas Football handy but I believe there were between 330-370 Division 1A signess from Texas High schools last year. Remember however other prospects failed to qualify.

Adam James is a good kid who unfortunately has a dad who is given to "hyperbole". He quit football to concentrate on baseball which is a smart thing but dad wouldn't allow it. His nickname among teammates is the same as a famous candy bar in a yellow wrapper.
