I think there should get rid of that atrocious thing and put something in that doesn't make constant squeak noises and put something that actually looks cool..

A friend of mine is building a house, he hired some well known architect out of Austin to design and draw it up. He paid the architect for his services, the architect wanted to see the house during the construction phase. My friend had brought in a local architect to make some minor changes. The Austin architect was offended and started to chew him out my buddy told him to leave, using colorful metaphors to describe how he could leave and what he thought of his ego.

i think the "wave" is outstanding as do most of my friends - i have had out of town guests who asked to see it and have sent pictures of it all over the US - the appreciation of art is a personal matter - many of my friends dislike "Modern Art" i have changed my mind about it over the years and appreciate it for what it is - an expression of artistic talent :D

I've never met anyone who didnt like the wave. I think it is really cool and should stay right where it is.

Exactly!
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
