I have a feeling we will not know how anyone we get will perform until after they get here. We are not going to get a known commodity. Head coach does not directly recruit anyway, he is an advisor and a closer.

I would just think ( and I am not pushing for or advocating Shannon) that a relatively young African-American head coach who could put together a good active staff could recruit the heck out of the DFW area. Same criteria for any race, but it might help our lily white image to go with a coach of color.

Mrydel, I hear what you are saying. I just want a coach with assistant coaches who are energetic, they hustle to recruit, the kids can relate to them, loves the school they are coaching and work there butts off to succeed.
