interesting call T.
you see this as a defensive struggle.
i see it as a nondefensive struggle.
lack of other predictions so far.
i guess the fans can't decide.
i can dig that.
these teams are hard to predict.
a lot on the line for smu.

Re: i haven't seen a prediction thread so...
This game reminds me a lot of the UTEP game last year. Road game against a team that isn't very good while we were coming off some horrible losses and the season looked doomed. I still don't think we get to 6 wins, but Memphis is a team we have flat out dominated the past two seasons. Offensively I haven't seen much out of them to make me think they're going to gash us. We've played Texas A&M and Texas Tech who are both high octane offenses so we shouldn't be caught off guard. Hopefully the bye week has helped get some guys healthy as well. I think SMU comes out and sets the tone early and we ride that momentum out to a win.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Luckily their O is pretty suspect (aside from their from RB, Brandon Hayes, who is avg 5.25 ypc).
D has been stout, but has yet to face a truly explosive offense.
IF (a big IF) GG gets enough time to throw the ball, we should win, 24-17.
If we look like sieve up front and get whistled for idiotic penalties, we lose 17-10.
Gut check game my friends.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
