The legendary football coach and one time SMU assistant coach passed away today.

A terrific man and a great coach. If you were a coach in Texas in the 1960s attending the THSCA school, your trip was not complete until you heard Bum Phillips' lecture/demonstration. Hell of man and a hell of a Texan.
