PANIC! It's Memphis!
After two weeks to recollect and compose oneself, its time to panic once again. All together now and curl up in the fetal position, suck our thumbs and just let go of bladder control.
Memphis scares the Hades out of me because its where the King died. Rock and Roll died in '77 and so will our offenses tomorrow.
How can our players concentrate on the game knowing they are so close to Graceland with Lime green shag carpet all over the place and not be able to see it.
Memphis will have that really scary Lion tiger or liger and scare our players.
Jones is gonna freak when he gets laughed at in the Rendezvous wearing that stupid lei thingy. He probably will not get over the humiliation enough to care that we care that he doesn't care. Or something like that.
We have only had two weeks to prepare for this team that took Houston to the limits in its glorious loss.
Memphis is better than us. They have a 1-4 record which is better than our 1-4 record.
Memphis has a kinda new coach and and think we need a new coach.Memphis ain't hiring and we aren't firing. That has to bad for us!
Our offense is only in the top 7 in passing and Memphis has a defense that complete shuts down the pass. We can't run, pass or punt. We're doomed!
Have we ever won a game West of the Mississippi this year? No! Why expect things change now?
11 AM is just too early. How can we expect 18-22 year old kids to even be up before the crack of noon?
Memphis will be wearing blue jerseys and we always loss when someone is in home blue jerseys.
I feel so low that i just might have to listen to the game on the radio cause the homers will make it sound like a close game. Anyway, no need to watch the game, listen to the game or even think about the game cause we just have no chance. Thank goodness there will be a really good game to keep our minds of the Mustangs' woes this weekend. Can't wait to see the Crimson Tide get blown out by the Beloved Razorbacks. At least we got that going for us.

I think we will either decimate them or lose. If it's close, we will probably lose.

I think we win but not in a blowout.
Should be right on target for 4-8.

I am driving tomorrow if you think Memphis is west of the Mississippi. I panicked when I read that fearing we would end up in El Paso.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: PANIC! It's Memphis!

I fear Memphis Wrestling Legend Jerry Lawler might put a smack-down on the Jones' clown act. Where's Fritz Von Erich when we need him?

Another worry: The Ghost of Col. Tom Parker. Elvis' svengali. Worried that his spirit will infect the officiating crew and we'll be called for even more penalties than usual.

and it might rain overnight or even into the early morning which could mean the grass might be wet and the ball might get wet and it might be windy and oh oh...we have no chance

Re: PANIC! It's Memphis!
It's Saturday, its rained in Arkyland and its cooler than usually. All bad signs. If I didn't feel so bad myself, I would feel bad for our players. But I can only feel sorry for myself as its hard to interact with the world while in the fetal position. We are doomed. Turn out the lights. Alas Babylon.

Well, whatever else happens in Memphis you got BBQ. Do those of you who perhaps live close enough to get there more often than others on the board prefer Corky's, Interstate, or Rendezvou or some other place?
