Sounds like we're out for Myles Turner
New Rivals article mentions he's narrowed his list to 7: Ohio State, Texas, Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Duke, Arizona, and Kansas.
Dad says they're still talking to SMU and want to attend a game this year at the new Moody, but it doesn't sound good that we didn't even crack his top 7 after the Mudiay commitment.

figures. We didn't even make his original top 8, so I didn't think we ever had a legit chance anyway.

I wish everyone on this board had access to that story to get the evaluation of Turner's father concerning how relentless SMU's recruiting efforts have been with regard to Turner. But you don't. We read the same thing over and over and over with regard to BB recruiting and the exact opposite over and over and over with regard to FB recruiting

Until he commits we are still in it. This staff doesn't quit.

About 90% thought Emmanuel Mudiay was a lock for Kentucky. . . Don't think LB's staff will quit on Myles, until Myles gives the staff an indication that he will attend a school other than SMU

Sounds like they are aware of sparse Moody crowds in the past. We need to pack the house and let them see what a full Moody can be like.

Sure as hell don't want to bring Myles to Gerald Ford Stadium for a football gamemrydel wrote:Sounds like they are aware of sparse Moody crowds in the past. We need to pack the house and let them see what a full Moody can be like.

Polar opposites. The results will speak for which approach is better.Stallion wrote:I wish everyone on this board had access to that story to get the evaluation of Turner's father concerning how relentless SMU's recruiting efforts have been with regard to Turner. The fat lady hasn't sung yet...or I hope she hasn't.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
