Because we're not a P5 team.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

call it a neutral field game under a separate contract and split the gate 50/50. Why would Michigan do it? simply Recruiting, Recruiting, Recruiting. The same reason Notre Dame played here this year.
Yep. Also they don't want three powerhouses on their OOC slate- they would view us as an easy W and a strategic recruiting trip. Win-win for them
UM has recruited in TX for decades, so this isn't exactly new territory for them.
If money is the driver, a higher profile opponent would sell more tickets (at higher prices) and command a larger rights fee from whichever network broadcasts the game.
IDK about y'all, but this is an INSULT that there is no return game. Damn we look like inferior b*tches now. So much for trying to make the AAC a top conference when we can't even deal a home and home.

we look weak.
It is what it is. Let's get a coaching staff in here that can recruit and coach and beat Michigan in five years. then we won't look so weak

Air Force, UCF and SMU all have one off's with them. It is what it is. Right now, we're in a conference that doesn't matter, maybe is UCF and us can find a way to win these games, we'll be worthy of getting a return game. Right now, we're not.

has there been any word on if the A&M@SMU game in '14 is still happening?
also, TCU recently set up a home game vs Minnesota on the same date they were to play SMU next year so they would have to find an open date if they still want to play.

Isn't A&M-Arkansas going back to Jerrah World starting next year? If so, wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they bought out the SMU game.
