NIT vs NCAA

Did anyone read the article this morning about the NIT suing the NCAA over the basketball tournament format? Does this have any merit in anyone's mind? According to one of the articles I read, if the NIT prevails the monetary damages (which would triple) could be pretty large.

I didn't read the article, but seems like the NIT is wasting their time to me. Not much of a claim there unless something recent has happened behind the scenes.
