Panic in the Rain!

Post by ponyte »

OMG, its gonna rain like a Gene Kelly movie and there will be nothing but Panic in the rain. The Owls are in town so assume the fetal position, suck on the thumb and just do a Frankie Goes to Hollywood on the bladder (Relax).

We have no chance and are doomed to defeat as we can't beat a team with the Owls as the mascot.

Rain, rain everywhere. We never win in the rain. When it’s dry, our loses are merely catastrophic. When it rains, our loses are catastrophic of biblical proportions.

Have we ever beaten a team north of the Mason Dixon line? Never and tomorrow is no different. As a matter of fact, we have never beaten team south of the Mason Dixon line. Who cares about the line, we are doomed to defeat.

We always top off a great homecoming weekend with a resounding defeat. Nothing says ‘Welcome back, alumni’ like reliving the previous post DP Homecomings.

The first Arkyland Express to Dallas is scheduled for this homecoming and the two losers in that car always bring defeat. Has anybody ever seen them smile? Wish they would just stay away.

Temple has a 'T' on their helmet and so does Texas A&M. And we all know what a ‘T’ on the helmet does to our players. Doomed.

So bring your umbrellas, join the band and homecoming parade folks and sing "Panic in the Rain’ as we head (at least some of us) to Ford to watch our Mustangs face the inevitable.

We’re Doomed, Alas Babylon!

Nicely played.

I think we win by 2 touchdowns…in a drizzle marked by a post-game downpour…with the Mustang band and 35 loyal fans watching the water cascade down the concrete steps of Ford Stadium…while watching sodden Temple players wonder if this is what Texas weather is like…and Mustang players wondering if our next coach will like rain…and whether the CofC will foot the bill…sheesh this is catching...

Bill Cosby went to Temple.

Last Time Bill Cosby was on campus cars were floating down the streets and the entire Cox School was underwater.

We are indeed doomed.

As of last week it seems no lead is safe.

Is he available to speak at Graduation? Because Bill Cosby was stellar.

However, I would prefer this Temple Alum:
