SMU offers Plano OL

Postby Lotus » Mon Aug 01, 2005 11:33 pm

Rivals is quoting Plano OL Wes Simon (6-2.5, 290, 5.03) as saying he has an offer from SMU.

"SMU offered me last week but Colorado and Iowa State are on top," he said. "SMU is still in the mix but I think my choice will probably be between Iowa State and Colorado."

Yo WES.
Do you know that you will never play in front of your family if you go to one of those other schools.

Another fact... You are going to FREEZE your ears off.

Come be a member of the HERD of big men at SMU  :D

Isn't he supposed to be a pretty stout DT, too?

Is Colorado still offering female companionship to recruits??

You can bet that Iowa State is not offering female companionship as an inducement, at least not from their coeds. That school has to rank in the top ten for ugly women on camp. To get a decent looking woman in Ames you would have to bus one in from Chicago.

ISU would be a good place for Wes. He could build up all those college relationships and connections and maybe work in Des Moines after school.

Good point. Although I don't know if I want to outright mock the guy's other choices .... until he announces his commitment to SMU.

I'll be careful about knocking a kid, but I'll also be honest. I have been in a few classes with him over the years, and I'm not sure he's the type of guy SMU is looking for. I'll leave it at that.
