Few are going to fly to Cincinnati-hey but I did drive with 3 fraternity brothers to Ohio St in 1978-but a really great challenge would be-if SMU has to beat UH to become bowl eligible would you drive to Houston to see that game. That is a fair challenge

UH has got to go to Louisville, Orlando and then play Cincy at home all in a row. I expect they hump USF at home next week so I reckon they will be 4-0 in conference when they start that stretch. We are their last game. They could easily be 4-3 in conference when we play them. Our boys have faced far superior teams this season and we are now offensively up and running. I hold out some hope, if not a lot, that we can beat Cincy and then go on to beat USF and UConn. If we do, we may well be ahead of them in the standings.

It could be a huge game and I don't believe that we can't win it. If our offense plays like it's playing right now, they won't be able to keep up.

UCF at home would then be a massive game for us.

Get behind the kids. They still have a chance to do something special. And with GG, there is always a chance.

I'm hoping the we are bowl eligible after the USF game :) Not beyond the realms of possibility.

If that is the case, I will be in Houston as it could have BCS ramifications (duck and cover). :)

Try checking the facts next time before you take a shot.

Arguably? According to whom? Show one non-UH source that places UH above Louisville or UCF.

Blame? That's just pointing out a fact. You may be proud of UH's weak schedule, but don't expect others to be impressed.

Houston is not nearly as good as their record. Their only impressive win was at Rutgers (a team crashing and burning). Give us their schedule and we'd probably have the same record. Let's go into the UCF game (at home!) with 6 straight wins! If our defense can buck up and we start winning the turnover battle it is very realistic.

Their 1 point loss is more impressive than any of our wins

I just read the current vote tally. Whoever voted 8-4, that must be one powerful psychedelic that you're on.

I'll be there with my old man. He's unfortunately a UH alumni.

Still waiting to see those Top 25 defenders that Mason and the practice gurus were raving about.

We will probably end up going 7-5. That's usually been the norm. We could win out, but I feel like the Houston game will be tough. UCF at home we should come out strong if we adjust the defense and pound them early.

We have a shot at winning the next three games, but to beat UH or UCF we need to show up ready to play at least three quarters (in each game, not total). We haven't done that yet.

so...the overwhelming majority feels we will beat UConn and USF to go 5-7 or at least that's what I assume the popular thinking is. Even that means winning another road game, although probably against a team with a losing record. As for the Cincy and Houston games...when was the last time we won as an underdog on the road against a team with a winning record??? And...I'm not including bowl wins as those are on neutral fields. I honestly don't remember
