I'm confused. This almost sounds like a positive about Jones.

Fans being positive about SMU/Jones = plausible

DMN being positive TWO days in a row (GG picture yesterday) = welcome to the twilight zone

I remember LB said that June encouraged him to hang in there when Orsini did not seem to want to hire him.

Wonder if JJ is reflective enough to realize what is happening among SMU students towards their BB program might be due to the efforts of LB.

Very impressed by the student support for this upcoming TCU BB game.

Everyone raving about student attendance for TCU bball game on Friday night, but how many student tickets were "sold out?" 200? 300? Think about how many SMU students were in attendance for Tech game...more than will be at the AAC on Fri night, I promise you that. It's all relative

Tech game was on campus. They sold over 200 in the past 2 days for the TCU bball game so we don't know what the totals from the last month or so were. Whatever it was they sold the entire allotment of student tickets. In fact they had to get some of TCU allotted tickets and sold those out within 2 hours. I think the students are showing appreciation for LB actually reaching out to them in person. And I do think there is more buzz on campus about basketball than football. No need to hate. Just sayin'.

Basketball has a chance to compete on a national level. Football simply does not no matter how much we want to pretend like it could in the future. Plain and simple.

Yes. The students seem to love larry brown. You could see it at games last year. The buzz will only build from here. It will be great for the school of the students completely buy in. Signs are that they are.
