Stanford stepped off the gas. . . Now lead Oregon 26-20 with 2:12 left in the game. Oregon doesn't have any time outs left, though

SMU would not get a slap on the wrist. We would get the hammer put down on us because we are a small school.

Isn't, "Everyone's doing it", what got us the DP? Seriously, STFU; I don't want to have to turn my SMU diplomas to the wall in institutional embarrassment, ever again.

lol SMU does have the worst fans. I now understand why 600 people show up at our games.

FTHP, I think you said somewhere that you graduated in 2007. If that is the case, I have been an SMU fan longer than you have lived. I'm sorry you, apparently, don't consider me a good fan, because I don't advocate and am embarrassed by no-holds-barred conduct either on the part of my school or its fan base.
FYI, even in the glory days of SMU football, SMU fans never celebrated victories by burning couches or turning over cars. It's just not our style and way of demonstrating loyalty and enthusiasm. As it turned out, we did cheat and get caught red-handed at it, and as a result, we suffered terrible (and arguably unfair) football consequences and widespread institutional ridicule. I don't want to go through that, ever again.
