I actually made it down there but sadly the sport bores me but its the only thing my friends consider watching since smu could be and should be good at it unlike football... I really really wish we had baseball. I will say though its not full stadium we have to remember its inconveniently at AAC which appears like 35 is always in a bind and uptown on a Friday night is a mess and Woodall is a hit or miss. Once moody is up and running I think easily 75-85% capacity.

I like looking at thongs too. I guess we do have something in common.

FTHP, you are an Effing idiot!
Like everyone has said, SMU had more fans than anyone.
These events early in season never draw good crowds, but even still, I have heard the crowd was actually quite respectable.
Also, at these events, typically most of the fans that buy these tickets are only in their seats for their team, and they roam the arena(stadium you say!) and or arrive late or leave early.
That area is a pain in the [deleted] to get to on Fridays too.
BUT MOST OF ALL, YOU'RE JUST BEING AN EFFIN IDIOT!
Beat the hell out of anybody!

Tickets were ridiculously priced, which scared some off, I assume.

SMU saved the [deleted] of whoever promoted this deal. Great turn out for us.

I'm not beating on the people that went, I am proud of the Mustangs who showed spirit. I am taking a shot on the ones that did not go and preferred to be in uptown or stayed in campus!

Then I am going to take a shot at the one that did not go and preferred to be out of town this weekend.

So what, I'm out of town for other reasons which are more important than going to the AAC. Already bought season tickets to Moody, have season tickets for Ford and will be at all home games, the way it has been since I graduated.
