For those of us out of market, DirecTV people...
Here's a heads up:
I just called...you have to have the "Sports Package" to get that channel (680) for the Hoops game tonight. Also, our next 2 football games are listed on "Sports Pack" channels. I just added it & figure I'll cancel as soon as the Mustangs are no longer listed.

a lot of people do that to take advantage of directv, as you only have to pay the prorated amount for the length of time you had the upgrade. however, if you do it too much they may stop offering you promotional deals in the long term

Up here in Indiana, we tried to add that sports package. However, we still could not get the game on 680.
The direct tv lady blamed it on a black out and said college sports were the most difficult to get. Not sure why it was blacked out up here.
Anyway, my mom lives down the street and has DISH......found the game on 441 so I watched it there.
Don't really want to do that late at night all winter long as I prefer lying in a warm bed on a cold night watching Nic play!

It was actually on the 680 alternate channel (680-1). Had you tried that? Maybe that was the issue.

Game was also on Direct TV 639 and 640, two east coast sports channels. Next time do a menu search on Direct for the game and it will give you all the channels.

Anyone know Who has radio broadcast in the Metroplex?
Will it be on any I Heart Radio stations? Would love to listen while watching in person.

thanks--I will see if they have an option for Internet listening.
I really need Rich Phillips or Allen Stone or whoever calling the game in my ear, while watching live. Was looking at my program all night tonight, because of all new players.
